Miriam Felton-Dansky is Associate Professor of Theater & Performance at Bard College (Annandale), and Director of the Undergraduate Theater & Performance Program. She teaches courses on modern and contemporary theater and performance, political and socially engaged performance, performance spectatorship, and performance in the digital world. She is the author of Viral Performance: Contagious Theaters from Modernism to the Digital Age (Northwestern University Press, 2018), as well as articles in numerous theater and performance studies journals and publications for general readership such as Artforum.com and the Village Voice. She is currently writing a book about spectatorship in contemporary performance.
